Tiger Camp SetPublished Wednesday, June 11, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneBoys entering the fourth, fifth and sixth grades for the coming school year are invited to register for the annual Tiger Cub Basketball Camp to be held June 16-19 at the Roy and Christine Sturgis Physical Education Center on the campus of Ouachita Baptist University. The cost is $40 per person if registering before June 16; it is $45 after that date. The fee includes instruction, a t-shirt and supplemental insurance. The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, each of the four days. Camp highlights include basketball fundamentals such as shooting, passing, defense and rebounding. Team games are also on the agenda, along with individual competition. The director of the camp is OBU Tiger head basketball coach Mike Reynolds with assistance from coach Grant Pate.
