Emmet Holds Assembly (cont)

Awards were presented to Christina Parmer, Danielle Willis, Joseph Hickey, R.D. Toland, Stacey Haney, Michael Lambert, Michaela Burnside, David Oliver, K.T. Hamilton and Jennifer Miller.

The President's Education Award for outstanding education improvement was presented to Susan Tipton.

Perfect Attendance Awards were presented to Corey Martin, Melissa Miller, Chaz Brzeski, Hanna Helmick, Felicia Hopson and Mario Hopson.

The 8th grade graduation was held on Friday, May 23, at 1:20 p.m. Those recieving diplomas were Toni Beard, Katie Davidson, Brian Davis, Addam Esada, Jim Faulkner, Jill Harris, Lee Harris, Kristopher Harvey, Amanda Hodges, Ted Kennedy, Rose Martin, Demarione Muldrow, Dustin Sanders, Michael Terrell, Nicholas Ward and Brandon White.

The kindergarten graduation was held on Friday, May 23, at 7:00 p.m. The processional was played by Mrs. Sandra Faulkner; the introduction was by Dr. Gene M. Ross. The kindergarten class sang songs and diplomas were presented by Mrs. Diane Davis, teacher, and Jack Faulkner, president of the Emmet School Board.

Those receiving diplomas were Chassidy Adcock, Blake Beard, Randy Berry, Niki Booker, Joshuya Brosius, Travis Burns, Riley Cottingham, Kerra Crawford, Halen Davis, Te'varez Dixon, Crystal Esada, Jessica Farnsworth, Joey Hardman, Jason Harris, Brook Ivey, Matthew King, Ashley Lambert, Catherine Langston, Deondra Martin, Codie McKamie, April Oliver, Brianna Otwell, Luther Otwell, Shane Parmer, Shalethia Reed,Brent Richardson, Shaun Smith, Ashley Toland, Bryan Whitney, and Cole White.

Mrs. Holly Rowe read a poem, `A Mother's Letter to the World.'
