Basketball Coach Search Begins (cont)

There is no football program at Genoa, and the basketball season will begin for Butler and the Lady Dragons on Oct. 21.

Genoa, though, is best known for its tradition on the cinders. Butler, in the spring, will be coaching girls' track after completing her duties on the hardwood in the fall. She will also teach physical education classes at GHS.

She said the district is growing at Genoa and is a good school system.

Butler told her husband she would have to buy a new wardrobe as most of the clothing she owns bears the PHS logo and is maroon and white.
