Vasser On Ethics CommitteePublished Wednesday, June 18, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneGlenn Vasser of Prescott has been appointed to the Arkansas Bar Association's Professional Ethics and Grievances Committee by president- elect Jack McNulty of Pine Bluff. McNulty also appointed him to the association's Legal Education Comittee. The appointment became effective during the association's annual meeting June 11-14 in Hot Springs. The ethics and grievances committee consists of attorneys with expertise in this area who join together to develop and recommend improved disciplinary methods and procedres and to cooperate with disciplinary organizations of the state and federal courts and conducts investigations when directed to do so by the house of delegates or the executive council of the Arkansas Bar Association. Members of the legal education committee join together to review the current means and systems of legal education in Arkansas and to promote continuing legal education. The association is a voluntary organization composed of over 4,000 lawyers and is dedicated to public service and continuing legal education for its members.
