Alice Louise BucknerPublished Wednesday, June 18, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesAlice Louise Buckner, 70, of Gurdon died Friday, June 13, 1997, in St. Joseph Hospital in Hot Springs. She was born December 3, 1926, in Gurdon and was a member of New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon. She was a retired cook for Area Agency on Aging. Survivors include one son, Noy Buckner Jr. of Gurdon; three sisters, Wanda Crow and Queen Hughes of Gurdon and Ruth Ross of Springfield, Ohio; two brothers, James O. Charles of Gurdon and Edward Charles of Detroit Mich.; a granddaughter, Lola Gulley; and two great granddaughters. Services will be Thursday, June 19, at 2:00 p.m. at New Mt.
