HSU Honor RollPublished Wednesday, June 25, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesThe office of Academic Affairs at Henderson State University announced that 154 collegians earned dean's list status for the spring semester. Dr. Bob Houston, vice president for academic affairs, said that in order to qualify for the dean's list, the student had to earn a perfect 4.0 on 12 or more semester hours of course work. Approximately 355 students made the university's honor roll for the spring term. According to Houston, students on the honor roll were required to earn a 3.5 grade average on 12 or more semester hours. Those from Gurdon making the dean' list were John W. Bloomfield and Teri L. Dillard. Students making the honor roll from Gurdon were Amy L. Beene, Stephanie Cagle, Timothy Golden, Lori Hathcoat, Lee G. Hendrix and Jeannie R. Thompson.
