Deadline NearingPublished Wednesday, July 2, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneTuesday, July 15, is the final date for farmers to certify crop acreage for corn, CRP, grain sorghum, soybeans, hay, pasture and other fruits and vegetables. The Hempstead/Nevada county Farm Service Agency office will be taking appointments to help each producer. Farmers are to control weeds and brush on CRP acreage and protect from haying and grazing at all times.
