Star Party Set July 12Published Wednesday, July 2, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesWhite Oak Lake State Park will have a Star Party on July 12. Dr. Jewles Mollere of the physics department at Henderson State University will start off the event with a brief discussion of star and planet movement at 8:30 p.m. followed by the use of telescopes. Those who are interested in attending should bring insect repellant and blankets or lawn chairs to the marina area White Oak Lake State Park is located south of Bluff City on Highway 387.
