Director Is Relieved Of DutiesBY JOHN MILLERPublished Wednesday, July 9, 1997 in the Gurdon Times At this time, the Clark County Industrial Council has no executive director. On Thursday, July 3, Peter Lawson was relieved of his duties as executive director of the CCIC by the organization's president, Brown Hardman. In a release, Hardman said things simply had not worked out and Lawson would be pursuing other interests. He emphasized the CCIC's activities would continue, including industrial recruitment, assisting existing industries and plans for the new business park west of Interstate 30 in Arkadelphia.
