Gladys Hoover Mouser

Gladys Hoover Mouser, 82, of Hope died Sunday, August 15, 1999, at Heather Manor South Nursing Center in Hope.

Mrs. Mouser was born December 26, 1916, in Laneburg. She was a housewife and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Hope. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Leslie Mouser, in 1996; one brother, Imon Hoover; and two sisters, Arlene Weaver and Myrtice Dougan.

Survivors include four sons and daughters-in law, James and Wanda Mouser of Emmet; and Wayne and Brenda Mouser and David and Martha Mouser all Bartlett, Texas, and Doyce Mouser of West Memphis; three daughters and sons-in-law, Audrey and Richard Chrestman of West Memphis, Mary Alice and Larry Thomas of Longview, Texas, and Linda Mouser of Memphis, Tenn.; and one sister Lorine Partine of Springdale.

Funeral services were Tuesday, August 17, in the Herndon Chapel with Rev. Bobby Ragan Jr. officiating. Burial followed in the Macedonia Cemetery at Blevins under the direction of Herndon Funeral Home of Hope.
