Judy CasonPublished Wednesday, August 18, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneJudy Cason, 63, of Prescott died Wednesday, August 11, 1999, at Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, Texas. Mrs. Cason was born July 9, 1936, in Albany, Mo., to John Oliver 'Doc' and Mildred Sarah Anderson Thompson. She was a motel clerk, a Baptist. She loved bingo, shopping, swimming and loved being with her kids and grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Frank Cason. Survivors include two sons, Phillip Ray Parks Jr. of Emmet and John James Parks of Prescott; two daughters, Brenda Ann Buckley of Delight and Victoria Sue McCoy of Dallas, Texas; one brother, John Oliver Thompson Jr. of St. Louis, Mo.; one sister, Mary Ann Carter of Oxford, Iowa; and eight grandchildren, Holly Marie Ruckley, Kristina Marie Buckley, John William Parks, Allison Nicole McCoy, James Tyler Parks, Michelle Galen McCoy, Phillip Ray Parks III and Brandon Kyle Parks. Funeral services were Friday, August 13, in the Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Carpenter officiating. Graveside committal service was Sunday, August 15, at Grandview Cemetery in Albany. Mo. Arrangements were under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
