John William Glass

John William Glass, 77, of Prescott died Tuesday, July 8, 1997, at St. Michael Health Care in Texarkana, Texas.

He was born March 19, 1920, in Prescott. He was a retired warehouse clerk at the Arkansas Highway Department. He was a member of Morris Baptist Church, and a veteren of World War II. A 32nd degree mason, he was a member of Prescott Masonic Lodge 80 and Southwest Arkansas Shrine Club.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Lou Kluver Glass of Prescott; one sister, Lorena McAteer of Camden; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Melissa Baird of Texarkana, Texas.

Services were Thursday, July 10, at Brazzel-Cornish Chapel in Prescott. Revs. Jim Cross and Tal Webb officiated the funeral. Interment was in Caney Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
