Encampment August 21

The annual encampment of the Ebenezer Campground near Center Point in Howard County will begin Friday, August 1, at 8:00. Daily services will be held at 11:00 and 8:00, with afternoon services at 3:00 on Sunday and Wednesday.

The evangelist for this 176th encampment will be Rev. Dale Whitlock of Plantersville, Miss. Rev. Don Robinson of Rockport Methodist Church will be the song leader. Rev. Fred Arnold, superintendent of the Camden District, will speak at the Wednesday memorial service.

Marjorie Copeland and the Mineral Springs choir will provide music at the lay service on Sunday afternoon. Special music will be provided by Dierks United Methodist Church choir at the Sunday evening service and by the Dierks First Baptist Church choir on Tuesday evening. Other special musical events are scheduled.

The campground is located off Highway 4, three miles north of Center Point. Services will end on Thursday evening, August 7.
