Campmeeting Scheduled For July 25-Aug. 3

Davidson Campground, located 12 miles west of Arkadelphia on Highway 26, will hold its 113th annual "old-time" Methodist Campmeeting July 25 -August 3.

Allen Rainey, pastor of Western Hills United Methodist Church in Little Rock, will be the evangelist.

Randy Garner from Second Baptist Church in Arkadelphia will be the song leader with Billie Jean Miller as pianist. Special music will be provided each evening.

Rev. Loyd Perry, pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Gurdon, will conduct a pre-campmeeting prayer service on July 24 at 8:30 p.m.

The campmeeting will begin with the evening service on July 25 and close with the morning worship on August 3. Services are at 11:00 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. daily.

On Sunday, July 27, at 2:00 p.m., the LeMay Family Ministry, a gospel quartet from Whelen Springs, will sing.

Visitors are always welcome.

Clean up day will be July 19.
