Leadership Program Is StagedPublished Wednesday, July 16, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesThe Clark County Extension Homemakers Council shared its leadership program with the Senior Adult Center in the CADC Building at the Clark County Fairgrounds. Fall fashion was the cultural arts, clothing and textile leadership program topic. Debbie and Michelle Thompson, owners of the Fashion Corner, at 2903 Pine Street in Arkadelphia, gave a viewing of the latests trends in fall fashions for an appreciative audience. EHS members, Joy McCarty, Lynn Wingfield, Ann Jenkins, Louise Atha, Katherine Burchfield, Judy Wilson and grandaughter, Alicia Berber, modeled the clothes and accessories. Door prizes given by the Fashion Corner were awarded to Artie Morse, Clayton Irwin and Ann Jenkins. A potluck luncheon was served in the EHC kitchen after the fashion program. Alma Fletcher and Mrs. Fred Perry donated the flowers for the floral arrangements. The Clark County Extension Homemakers Club's welcome new members.
