Carrie Vandiver was honored with a birthday party by her family Saturday morning.

Louise Hale made a trip to Texarkana Friday for some tests.

Visiting Eva Jones this week were Sue Ward, Mary Jones and Phenea Youngman.

Mozelle Gill spent Thursday night and Friday in the hospital in Little Rock for some tests.

Irene Riley had Dixie Clary had a visitor this week She and her brother, Pat Andrews, attended the grand opening of Love's Truck Stop. Other visitors were Olen Kelly and Rhonda Hillery.

Janette Beaver of Camden visited her mother, Minnie Moore, this week.

Hamp Miller visited several here this week: Noel Cummings, Jesse Steed and Juanita Weaver.

Richard Key from Gurdon visits his wife, Mary, several times a week.

We only have two birthdays this week, Sherrill Young, August 15, and Otis Walker, the 18th. One of our new residents, Glendene Haynie, had a birthday on the 12th of August.

James and Betty Roberson of Garland, Texas, visited her mother, Lucy Taylor, on Friday.

We are happy to have Venta Bustin back home from the hospital.

Talitha Egger is having to spend a few days in the hospital.

Glad to have Ohel Daniels back home from the hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Louie Dillard always enjoys a visit from their children, grandchildren and friends.

Helen Harrison visited Grace Tyree and Jean Cottingham this week.

Gilbert Wicker visited Lois Wicker and his mother, Irene Wicker.

Myrtle Hastings' guest this weekend was her son from Little Rock, James Hastings.

Visiting Ohel Daniels were her daughters, Myra Peachey, Joyce Martin and Louvina Henson from Little Rock.

Roy Loomis visits his sister, Faye Sutton, each week.

Visiting Edith Hughes this week was a friend, Johnny Rutherford, of Okolona.

Jesse Steed had as his guest, his brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Frances Steed, from Pine Bluff.

Visiting Helen Kelley were Kay Nelson, Scotty Cox, Gilda Cox, Daisy Cox, Laverne Clifton and Mildred Kelly and her husband, Olen Kelley.

Delia Pittman visited Maxie Ledbetter this week.

David, Tina and P.J. McKinnon visited her mother, Bell Bolto,n Sunday.

As always we enjoyed Al Martindale Jr., and his wife for helping us out Sunday with lovely piano music and singing. Thank you both.

We would also like to say a big thank you to the Good Time Square Dancers who entertained us Monday night. Everyone really did enjoy them.

Adron and Melba Hicks visited Mary Cross and Ozelle and Louie Dillard Sunday.

Visiting Mary Etta Jackson were Elder Charles Hopson, Lucy Hopson, Thomas Brewer and William Johnson.

Visiting Otis Walker were Reva Gulley, Minnie Neal, Kathy Fricks, Emma Lewis and Patricia Fricks.

We are glad Eva Jones gets to get out almost every Sunday with her family to attend church service.

It was good to get Oscar Hopson out of his room Sunday to enjoy Al Martindale's music.
