Conway OtwellPublished Wednesday, July 23, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesConway Otwell, 86, of Beirne died Wednesday, July 16, 1997. A member of Beirne Baptist Church, he was a retired saw filer for International Paper Company. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Alma and Homer Holbrook of Little Rock; a sister Nellie Hisaw of Gurdon; a stepson, John Lee of Gurdon; two stepdaughters, Laverne Ward of Bryant and Gail Hendrix of Alexander; and other relatives. Services were Friday, July 18, in Horne Funeral Chapel in Gurdon with interment in Brown Cemetery in Beirne. Rev. Terry Mann officiated.
