Helen Doris GarnerPublished Wednesday, July 23, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneHelen Doris Garner, 73, of Reader, formerly of Channelview, Texas, died Friday, July 18, 1997. She was born July 5, 1924, in San Antonia, Texas, to Judge Wiley and Viola Lois Langston. Survivors include her husband, Thomas C. Garner of Austin, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Ann and Dwight Toland of Spring, Texas; granddaughters, Kristina, Diana, Alisha and Amanda Toland all of Spring, Texas. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 22, at the San Jacinto Funeral Home Chapel in San Jacinto, Texas. Burial was in San Jacinto Cemetery under the direction of Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon.
