Elsie Lee McKissackPublished Wednesday, July 23, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneElsie Lee McKissack, 87, of Prescott died Wednesday, July 16, 1997, at Nashville Nursing Center in Nashville. She was born July 27, 1909, in Mt.Ida, to Henry K. and Jencie E. Plyler Walters. She was a retired employee of Redland Farms and a homemaker. She was a member of Midway United Methodist Church near Prescott. Survivors include two daughters, Sue Rogers of San Antonio, Texas, and Barbara Powell of New Hope; two sisters, Mary Jane Miller of Prescott and Pauline Pearson of Prescott; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Ruth Walters of Pine Bluff; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services were Friday, July 18, at Midway United Methodist Church in Prescott with Rev. Dale McKinney officiating.
