John Henry Burdue

John Henry Burdue, 59, of Prescott died Friday, August 8, 1997, at his home.

He was born September 10, 1937, in Lewisville to Jean B. and Esther Cheatam Burdue. He was a carpenter and a member of Boughton Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Burdue of Prescott; two sons, John Wayne Burdue of Prescott and Tommy Joe Burdue of Pine Bluff; one step-

son, Paul Dexter Roy of Lewisville; two daughters, Brenda Sue Wilbanks of Prescott and Cynthia Ann Allmon of Murfreesboro; five sisters, Mary Helen Broom and Gladys Marie Burdue of Magnolia, Sadie Hawkins of DeKalb, Texas, Geneva Rice of Rodessa, La., and Lovie Burdue of Texarkana, Texas; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services were Sunday, August 10, at Brazzel-Cornish Chapel with Rev. Michael Mauldin officiating. Burial was in Missionary Grove Cemetery near Prescott. Arrangements were under the direction of Brazzel- Cornish Funeral Home.
