Pageant Deadline NearPublished Wednesday, August 13, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesWednesday, August 20, is the application deadline for the Clark County Fair pageant, according to Barbara Holt of the Clark County Extension office. Young women between 16 and 21 who would like to compete for Fair Queen, pre-school potential Little Misses, and young people up to age 21 with musical, dramatic or other performance talent are urged to participate in the Fair Pageant. It will be held September 8 at 7 p.m. at Arkansas Hall at Henderson State University.
