Pageant Photos Needed

Those planning to enter the annual Forest Festival Photogenic contest need to get their 5 by 7 photos turned in.

Entry forms and more information can be obtained from Billy Wells at Billy's Main Street Florist.

This year's Forest Festival Pageant will be held Saturday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m. in the Gurdon High School cafetorium.

Any young lady residing in Clark County between the ages of three and 18 is eligible for the contest.

There will be four age divisions: Tiny Miss for ages 3-5; Little Miss, ages 6-8; Princess for ages 9-12; and Queen ages 13-18. No exceptions will be made concerning age of the contestants.

In order to compete, the girls must have had their third birthday on or before Oct. 4.

Entry fee for the pageant is $30, which must be paid when the entry form is turned in.

The pageant is sponsored by the Gurdon CD&E Club and is held in conjunction with the Gurdon Forest Festival, which is held the last Saturday in October.

Deadline for getting photos entered is Tuesday, Sept. 23.
