Searcy Lee ClanahanPublished Wednesday, September 10, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneSearcy Lee Clanahan, 73, of Bluff City died Wednesday, September 3, 1997, in a Little Rock hospital. He was a retired employee of Gladden Ford Company in Gurdon and a member of St. John Baptist Church of Bluff City. He was born May 5, 1924, in Bluff City, the son of the late John and Luvenia Gulley. Survivors include his wife, Lessie Ann Clanahan; one son, Searcy Clanahan Jr. of Prescott; one daughter, Gwendolyn Page of Prescott; two brothers, Clifton Gulley and Jimmy Gulley of Rockford, Ill.; eight sisters, Nellie Clanahan, Lee Florence Box and Birdie Mae Bowman of Prescott, Reesie Dismuke of Malvern, Ola Mae Perry of Los Aneles, Calif., and Brodie Ingram, Mae Dean Gulley and Gloria Williams of Rockford, Ill.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Saturday, September 6, at St. John Baptist Church at Bluff City with Rev. Wallace Ingram officiating.
