Betty Louise RevelsPublished Wednesday, September 10, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneBetty Louise Revels, 70, of Hope died Wednesday, September 3, 1997, at Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana. She was born on August 19, 1927, in Mineral Springs. She was a homemaker, a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Spring Hill and was preceded in death by her husband, John Martin Revels Jr. Survivors include two sons, Jack Martin Revels of Old Washington and John Ricky Revels of Texarkana, Texas; two daughters, Teresa Lou King of Hope and Mary Nona Clayton of Hope; one brother, Lee Green of Saratoga; five grandsons; three granddaughters; and one great granddaughter. Services were Friday, September 5, at Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel in Hope. Rev. James Ross officiating, assisted by Revs. C.O. Stron and Tracy Harris.
