Earnest Thomas WardPublished Wednesday, September 17, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesEarnest Thomas Ward, 76, of Gurdon died Thursday, September 4, 1997, at Hot Springs. He was retired from General Motors. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had been awarded the Bronze Star. He is survived by a brother, Bernest Stephens of Gurdon, and several neices and nephews. Services were held Thursday, September 11, at Roanoke Baptist Church in Gurdon with Rev. Rufus Hatley officiating.
