Fourteen Clark County 4-H members participated in the Arkansas 4-H O'Rama.

A total of 750 youth spent July 28-30 in Fayetteville, on the campus of the University of Arkansas. Most of the 4-H'ers qualify at District O'Rama, then go on to the State O'Rama.

There are about 50 different events a 4-H member may participate in.

This year Clark County had two state winners. Kristen Mallett, a member of the Four Leaf Clover club, won the competitive activity of performing arts-popular dance, and Paul McMillan, a member of the Shining Stars 4-H Club, won the automotive activity.

4-H is the youth development program of the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service.
