Jacy E. `Ed' Hasley

Jacy E. `Ed' Hasley, 79, of Prescott died Tuesday, September 16, 1997, at the veterans hospital in Little Rock.

Mr. Hasley was born February 23, 1918, in Knoxville to Jacy E. and Diccie (Tucker) Hasley. Mr. Hasley was a building contractor and a veteran of World War II. He was a member of First Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, and American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby (Woodard) Hasley of Prescott; four sons, Doug Hasley of Texarkana, Texas, Jacy Levinsky of Little Rock, Woody and Joy Hasley of Springdale and Tom Hasley of Stilwell, Okla.; one brother, Grady Hasley of Hope; one sister, Anne Gordon of Prescott; four grandchildren, Amy Pope, Andy Levinsky, Brandon Garcia and Carmen Garcia; one great grandchild, Ian Pope; and a number nieces and nephews.

Services were held Thursday, September 18, at First Baptist Church in Prescott with Rev. Bill Carpenter officiating. Burial was in DeAnn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Prescott.
