The Nevada Elementary Ambassadors for the first semester are, kindergarten: Hannah Hampton, Cordell Mixon, Jessica Ellenburg and An'Reckaz Daniels; first grade: Dustin Cooley, Candace Sanders, Zack Cross, Becca Hicks, Natasha Farrer and Shane McElroy; second grade: Chasity Dorman, Deveon Zachery, Shannon Delabra and Corinne Holcomb; third grade: Asha Jones, Orin Hampton, Ryan McElroy and Jamia Yarbrough; fourth grade: Chad Jones, Ashley Dixon and Samantha Cearley; fifth grade: Kim Powell, Joseph Gulley and David Henry; and sixth Grade: Keela Good, Brandon Evans, Natasha Jones, Todd Campbell and Latoya Beasley. Qualifications for Ambassadors are kindess, honesty, dependability, good listening skills, friendliness and cooperativeness. These students are to help make the period of orientation to a new school more comfortable to new students, to provide leadership training, to assist the counselor and teachers in serving the student body and to help all students grow in empathy and understanding of the feelings of others. Kay King, NES counselor, coordinates the program.
