A 21-year-old Prescott woman charged with second degree battery had her parole revoked last week.

According to Jim Westmoreland, criminal investigator with the Prescott Police Department and Nevada County Sheriff's Office, on Monday, Sept. 15, Chrystal Davis went before her parole hearing examiner, Jackson Jones, to determine her immediate future.

Davis was on parole for theft by receiving charges, stemming from a June 1995, incident. At the time, she was given five years probation, but saw it revoked in August 1996, because she failed to meet the terms set by the court. She was sentenced to three years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.

However, on Sept. 3, she was charged with second degree battery in connection with a Department of Human Services investigation concerning her 20-month-old child.

The child was taken to Medical Park Hospital in Hope, where it was learned it had broken bones and other injuries.

This led to Davis' being charged with battery and getting her parole revoked.
