SW District Fair Begins In Hope (cont)BY JOHN MILLERPublished Wednesday, September 24, 1997 in the Nevada County Picayune before the fair at the Coliseum between 1:30 and 4 p.m. More than 1,500 arts and crafts entries were at the '96 SWAR Fair and Rodeo, Fuller said, with even more anticipated this year. Food preservation saw between 1,100 and 1,200 entries in '96, while there were 400 or 500 horticultural entries. Again, he said, these events continue to grow and the entries just keep growing.
