Ruth L. CrewsPublished Wednesday, October 1, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneRuth L. Crews, 73, of Delight died Monday, September 22, 1997, at a Prescott rehabilitation center. Mrs. Crews was born February 24, 1924, in Delight to the late John W. and Lydia L. Sutton Doss. She was a member of Central Christian Church, the Order of the Easter Star and American Cancer Society. She was a former employee of the poultry industry. Survivors include her husband, Sammie M. Crews of Delight; two sons, Tommy R. Belasco of Hope and Johnny L. Belasco of North Little Rock; one brother, John Raymond Doss of Delight; two sisters, Cora Roberts of Magnolia and Dalphene Kelly of Delight; eight grandchildren, six great grandchilden and a number of nephews nad nieces. Funeral services were Thursday, September 25, at First Assembly of God Church in Delight with Rev. L.B. French officiating. Burial was in Delight Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Murfreesboro. Memorial may be made to American Cancer Society, c/o Mrs. Ray Sain, P.O. Box 99, Nashville, AR 71852.
