Henrietta Armstrong

Henrietta Armstrong, 95, of Prescott died Monday, September 22, 1997, in the home of her niece and her husband, Patricia and David Kirkham, where she has lived for 14 years.

Mrs. Armstrong was born on November 27, 1901 in Houston, Texas. She was a retired clerk for Western Union. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Glenn Armstrong, in 1980. If her husband was still alive, they would have celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary on September 22.

Survivors include two nieces, Ruth Thompson and Margret Pyle; great nephews and nieces, Patricia and David Kirkham, David Thompson, Daniel Thompson, Donald Thompson, Stephen Pyle, Gary Pyle, Julia Taylor, Earlene Pyle and Becky Pyle, Texas; and a host of great, great and great, great, great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Wednesday, September 24, in Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services and burial were in Amarillo, Texas, Friday, September 26, at Llano Cemetery under the direction of Griggs and Sons Funeral Home.
