Fund Raising PlannedPublished Wednesday, October 1, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesThe Gurdon Band Boosters would like to communicate to the community what is going on with the band members and parents. The Band Boosters met on September 2, 1997 in the high school band hall with 30 parents in attendance. Fund raisers agreed on the selling of Pizza Hut cards, half time kick, and Subway cards. If you missed buying a Pizza Hut Passport card we still have a few available. Call the band hall or the cards may be purchased until the end of the first quarter of each home football game at the band tables. The halftime kick is something new and exciting for our halftimes. For those who want to participate some prizes can be won. We will be meeting again on October 7, 1997 at 7:00 p.m. and invite every parent and band supporter to attend. Articles dated December 1981 through May 2001 were contributed by Ragsdale Printing Company, Inc. Articles June 2001 to ? were contributed by Better Built Group, Inc. Articles ? to October 2008 were contributed by GateHouse Media. Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
