Forest Festival Pageant Is Saturday

This Saturday evening forty young ladies from across Clark county will compete for the titles of Tiny Miss, Little Miss, Princess and Queen of the fifteenth annual Forest Festival Pageant.

Tickets are now on sale at Billy's Main Street Florist. Ticket prices are $2.50 in advance, and $3.00 at the door. All tickets are general admission.

The rehearsal schedule for contestants on Saturday morning will be as follows. 9:00-9:45, Tiny Miss; 9:45-10:30, Little Miss; 10:30-11:15, Princess, and 11:15-12:00, Queen.

All contestants are requested to bring their actual walking shoes to rehearsal.

The pageant will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the middle school auditorium.

The pageant is sponsored by the Gurdon CD&E Club in conjunciton with the Gurdon Forest Festival to be held Saturday, October 27.

Everyone is urged to attend this entertaining program and support your contestants and community.
