Eric Griffin Memorial Run Slated For Forest Festival

The second annual Eric Griffin Memorial Run will be held in conjunction with the Gurdon Forest Festival on October 25.

The run will be held near the Methodist Church in downtown Gurdon with the following age groups and times: 12-14 years of age will run at 8:00 a.m.; 9-11 years of age will run at 8:30; 6-8 years of age will run at 8:45; and 3-5 years of age will run at 9:00 a.m.

The length of each race will vary according to each age group.

Each entrant will receive a T-shirt. Trophies and/or medallions will be awarded to each contestant.

The race is open to both boys and girls. There is a $5 entry fee.

Entry forms are available at all Gurdon Public Schools, First State Bank, Horizon Bank and Plyler's Hardware.
