Ann W. Cox, 65, of Prescott died Monday, October 6, 1997, at her home.

Mrs. Cox was born March 29, 1932, in Pike City. She was the daughter of William and Irene Jackson. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Prescott. She was preceded in death by her parents of Alexandria, Ind., one sister, Jean Garrett, of Texas and one grandaughter, Teri Ray, of Prescott.

Survivors include her husband Ray D. Cox; one son, Donnie Cox; two daughters, Lana Haynie and Loretta Ward of Prescott; four brothers, Kenneth, Kevin and Kirby Jackson of Indiana and Kerry Jackson of Illinois; two sisters, Rene Damm of Dallas, Texas, and Juanita Shallenberger of Indiana; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Funeral services are to be today (Wednesday), October 8, 1997, at 3:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with Bro. Bill Christian officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott.
