PHS Homecoming Parade Is Planned For October 21Published Wednesday, October 8, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe Prescott High School homecoming parade, sponsored by the PHS Student Council, will take place at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, October 21. Participants will line up at the corner of West Third and West Main. The route will follow a course going east on West Main to West First, where it will turn left onto East Elm. The parade will end at Taylor's Big Star Grocery parking lot. The parade participants will include high school clubs, the Curley Wolves football team, cheerleaders and the 1997 homecoming royalty. Any school clubs or organizations from the Prescott School District that would still like to enter, may pick up an entry form at PHS and return it by October 10. Those entering the parade will receive their position in the line-up the following week. The coronation of the court and the crowning of the homecoming queen will begin at 7 p.m. at the PHS football stadium.
