Jack Lester McBrayer

Jack Lester McBrayer, 77, of Nashville, Tenn., formerly of Prescott, died Monday, October 13, 1997, at his home.

Mr. McBrayer was born February 11, 1920, to Glaze Alexander McBrayer and Netie Conatser McBrayer. He was retired from Whirlpool Corporation. He was a member of Bellevue Church of Christ in Nashville. He was a U.S. Army World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Obera McBrayer of Nashville, Tenn.; two sons, Larry Don McBrayer of Smith, Ala. and Richard McBrayer of Nashville, Tenn.; one daughter, Martha Ledbetter of Pearl, Miss.; one sister, Esther Jordan of Hope; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Thursday, October 16, at 10:00 a.m. at Harris Cemetery in McCaskill with John Alan Ross officiating. Arrangements will be under the direction of Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
