Club NewsPublished Wednesday, October 15, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneNevada County Extension Homemakers Club board met at the Extension office on October 6 to finalize plans for the fall council meeting coming up October 21. Other items of business were also discussed. The duties of each club at the council will rotate up from spring council. Club presidents will explain this at this month's meetings. The year book committee was to have met October 9 at 1:30. All vice presidents or their representatives were supposed to have attended this meeting. All members of EH Clubs were invited to go on a fun trip October 10. This was a trip to Mt. Ida for the Quartz, Quiltz and Cratz celebration. A district rally will be at DeGray Lodge. All Extension Homemakers are urged to attend. Any members who wish to will meet November 10 at 9:30 to work on the quilt which has been planned by the council. Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
