PHS Homecoming Court NamedPublished Wednesday, October 15, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneMandy Cox will reign as the 1997 Homecoming Queen for Prescott High School. Mandy will be crowned Friday, October 24, at the PHS football stadium at 7:00 p.m. prior to the football game between the Prescott Curley Wolves and the Junction City Dragons. The senior Curley Wolf escorts are Heath Duke, Ryan Ellis, Doug Flenory, Mike Fountain, Aaron Hawthorne, Al Johnston, Ben Jones, Brent Jordan, Brock Jordan, Shane Mowery, Jason Morrow, Jeremy Morrow, Jeremy Smith, Gary Stovall, Carlos Vanhook and Bret Wicker. Brittany Bennett, daughter of Kim and David Bennett, will serve as the flower girl. Dillon Maxwell, son of Wendy and David Maxwell, will serve as the crown bearer. Student announcers are Scott Hobbs and Marc McGough. The PHS Student Council is sponsoring its annual homecoming parade. The parade will follow the traditional route and is scheduled for Tuesday, October 21, at 5:15 p.m. The homecoming pep rally is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, in the PHS gym. The royalty and their escorts will be introduced at the pep rally. Gametime for homecoming is 7:30. A reception will be held after the game in the home economics building.
