Ruthie Ellen EggerPublished Wednesday, October 22, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesRuthie Ellen Egger, 84, of Prescott died Monday, October 20, 1997, at Hillcrest Care Center. Mrs. Egger was born October 13, 1913, at Whitt Springs. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Egger, in 1988 and two children. Survivors include two sons, Delmer Egger of Prescott and J.T. Egger of Arkadelphia; two sisters, Judy Crabb of Paducah, Ky., and Mary Grant of Steamboat Springs, Colo.; one brother, Lonzo Roberts of Russellville; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services are today, Wednesday, October 22, at 10:00 a.m. at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel with Bernard Escalante officiating. Interment will be in Richwood Cemetery near Arkadelphia.
