Fred StanleyPublished Wednesday, October 22, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesFred Stanley, 65, of McCaskill died Tuesday, October 14, 1997, at Howard County Hospital in Nashville. Mr. Stanley was born November 15, 1931, in Prescott to Fredrick and Mary Price Stanley. He was a maintenance worker at Hudson Foods in Hope. He was also in the Arkansas National Guard. Survivors include his wife, Retha Briggs Stanley of McCaskill; two sons, Randall Stanley of McCaskill and John Forrest of Texarkana, Ark.; six daughters, Mary Jean Worley of De Queen, Fredia Brown of Mena, Brenda Stanley of Monette, Mo., Tammy Watson of Smithville, Okla., Brandy Michelle Stanley of McCaskill and Roberta Trickel of Nashville; two sisters, Mable Rhodes of Prescott and Ann Greenhawa of Fayetteville; and nine grandchildren. Graveside services were Wednesday, October 15, at Avery's Chapel Cemetery in McCaskill with Rev. Kathy Slaton officiating.
