lay. On the next play, Prescott was called for illegal procedure. The same thing happened on the next play, but the penalty was declined by the Cobras, because an incomplete pass was bringing up a third and 10 situation.

Johnston went into shotgun formation and hit Woodley with a first down pass at the 24-yard line.

Jones then missed a pretty pass in the end zone. Woodley then went into action and went in for another score, which was nullified because of a clipping penalty, moving the ball back to the 35. Johnston then was stopped behind the line of scrimmage for a six-yard loss.

Johnston then hit Morrow with a little pass over the middle with Morrow evading defenders to get into the end zone for the touchdown. The kick by Fountain was good to make the score 42-7.

Coach Bennett began to substitute freely. Early in the fourth period Johnston scored another touchdown that was also called back because of a clpping penalty against the Curley Wolves.

Twice the Curley Wolves were turned away from scoring, then the Cobras began a drive featuring Roy Lee. How many times did fans at the game hear the name Roy Lee?

Roy Lee completed the drive with a TD from the three. Then Roy Lee went in for a two-point conversion play, making the score 42-15.

An onsides kick was easily recovered by the Cobras, but the game ended before they could capitalize on the recovery.

In one of the best offensive games of the year, the Curley Wolves had a total of 435 offensive yards - 195 rushing and 240 passing.

Johnston completed seven of 10 passes. He passed for touchdowns in the first, second and third quarters. Keen attempted 15 passes for Fountain Lake, but only completed five for 78 yards. He threw one interception and had nine others fall incomplete.

Prescott finished the game with 17 first downs while the Cobras had 14.

The biggest quarter for both teams was the first. Prescott rushed for 125 yards during the period and Johnston passed for 78 more. The Cobras rushed for 82 yards and Keen passed for 22 more.

The game's leading rusher was Roy Lee with 92 yards on 26 carries.

Woodley rushed six times for Prescott for 61 yards and one TD. Right behind him was Flemons with four rushes and 60 yards including one TD.
