Ruby ThomasonPublished Wednesday, October 29, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneRuby Thomason, 89, of Prescott died Thursday, October 23, 1997, at Hillcrest Care and Rehab. Mrs. Thomason was born November 14, 1907, in Boughton to Walter and Sally Barham Ridgell. A member of Shady Grove Baptist Church, she was a housewife. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Wesley Thomason, in 1990. Survivors include one brother, Barham Ridgell of Little Rock; two sisters, Pearl Smart of Camden and Cleo Formby of Wichita Falls, Texas, and three nieces and three nephews. Funeral services were Saturday, October 25, in the chapel of Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott with Rev. C.O. Strong and Rev. Larry Byers officiating.
