2nd Suspect Arrested For Deer Camp ArsonBY JOHN MILLERPublished Wednesday, October 29, 1997 in the Nevada County Picayune By JOHN MILLER A second suspect has been arrested for the burning of an area deer camp. According to Jim Westmoreland, criminal investigator with the Nevada County Sheriff's Office and Prescott Police Department, Kenneth F. Pittman, 37, of Prescott was arrested Tuesday, Oct. 21, and charged with arson. This was in connection with the burning of the Ward deer camp on Sept. 14. This camp is located on county road 404 southeast of Bluff City. The investigation was conducted by the NCSO and Arkansas State Police, including investigator Scott Clark and Shannon Shepherd with "Tucker" the K-9 officer. Westmoreland said the other man arrested was Brandon Bailey, who is currently out on a $20,000 bond. TRICK OR TREAT Nevada County Sheriff Steve Otwell said a Halloween Booth will be set up in front of the NCSO. The booth will open at 6:30 p.m. and remain open until the candy is gone.
