Hazel J. Cox, 87, of Magnolia died, Saturday, August 21, 1999, in Beverly Nursing Home in Searcy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan O. Cox.

Mrs. Cox was born March 2, 1912, in Glenville to Guy N. and Lilla Lois (Butcher) Bradshaw. She was a homemaker, a member of Cloverdale Church of Christ in Searcy and former member of Jackson Street Church of Christ in Magnolia.

Survivors include one son, Travis Cox of Searcy; one daugher, Carolyn Barton of San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, Bill Bradshaw of Waldo and Herbert Bradshaw of Shreveport, La.; one sister, Mary Lou Preston of Duncanville, Texas; grandchildren, Holly Ann Adams of San Francisco, Calif., Laura Lee Adams of Dallas, Texas; Jennifer Lynn Adams of Rockledge, Fla., Deborah Lynn Cox Hulgus of Springfield, Mo., Michael Allen Cox of Nixa, Mo., Rebekah Carol Cox of Little Rock and Leah Jan Cox Rogers of Searcy.

Funeral services were Tuesday, August 24, at Lewis Chapel in Waldo with Leon Watson officiating. Burial was in Columbia Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home of Magnolia.
