Beatrice Jewel JohnsonPublished Wednesday, November 5, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Beatrice Jewel Johnson, 66, of Prescott died Monday, November 3, 1997, in Emmet. Mrs. Johnson was born June 21, 1931, in Prescott to William and Bertha Holder Brown. She was a housewife and mother. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Johnson Jr. in 1982. Survivors include one son, Wayne Johnson of Brentwood, Tenn.; one daughter, Mary Shipp of Emmet; two brothers, Herman Brown of Prescott and Glendale Brown of Benton; two sisters, Audry Biddle of Prescott and Florene Williams of Little Rock; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Graveside service are today, Wednesday, November 5, at 10:00 a.m. at Piney Grove Cemetery with Gene Cloer officiating.
