Albert Marion JonesPublished Wednesday, August 25, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneAlbert Marion Jones, 68, recently moved to Texarkana from Marietta, Ga., died Sunday, August 22, 1999, in a Texarkana hospital. Mr. Jones was born August 17, 1931, in Texarkana, Ark. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and from the federal government. He was a Baptist. Mr. Jones had served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Survivors include his wife, Jonell Jones of Texarkana; one son, Steve Jones of Orange, Calif.; one grandson, Michael Jones of Orange, Calif.; one brother, Jessie Lee Jones of Doddridge; and two sisters, Marie Goston of Texarkana and Murlene Brewer of Hobbs, N. Mex. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 26, at Missionary Grove Cemetery near Prescott with Dr. Bill Steeger officiating.
