Thinking Class Offered

"Teaching Children to Think nad Dream" is the theme that will be carried out in the Prescott Public Schools during the week of November 17-21, according to Prescott District Education Association President Joyce Gibson.

Activities to be carried out that will include parents, students, teachers, educational support staff and the whole Prescott school community include:

Monday, November 17 -- Lights for Education. Every household is asked to turn on its porch lights from 7 to 8 p.m.

Tuesday, November 18 -- SIPS (Students in Prescott Schools) Day. Student will be honored throughout the day in classes or assemblies.

Thursday, November 20 -- ESP (Educational Support Staff) Day. Custodians, bus drivers, secretaries, lunchroom workers, bookkeeper, classroom aides and maintenance workers will be honored.

Friday, November 21 -- Give A Kid A Book Day. Give some child a book (from Green Eggs to Hamlet) and help then to think and dream through reading.
