Church was well attended Sunday. Bro. Petie brought a very inspiring sermon. Special music was rendered by Jeff and Tara Carlton. They did a super job on a song that was new to them. Guests in church Sunday were Roy and Pam Elliott and son Troy of Willisville. Roy works at Spencer Harris in Magnolia and Pam is a teacher in the Emmet School system. Other visitors were Billy and Kelly Hardin and children of Willisville, Michael and Nicole Brown of Willisville and two of Bro. Petie's cousins, Jason and Justin Clark, of Bodcaw and B.C. Dillard's grandson, Drake, of Texarkana and Nadine. We were happy to have all these visitors and welcome them back anytime.

Our guests Thursday night were son, Jim, and his wife, Booie, and granddaughter Tori Rocole and great granddaughter, Kathryn Rocole of Magnolia. We all had supper at Crossroads Buffet and then came back to our house for a visit.

Our great grandchildren, Tori Rocole and Tyler McKinnon, have started to school in the first grade. Now we know how old we are getting.

There was an estate sale at the home of Estelle Blakely here in Rosston on Saturday. It was well attended and everything was auctioned off. It's sad to see this have to happen in our little town.

Johnnie, Brenda and Austin Jenson are getting moved into their new home. It is the former home of Brenda's grandfather, Bro. Haskel Capps. We are so happy for them.

Roscoe and I visited with Raymond and Louise Huett in Prescott on Wednesday afternoon. Raymond isn't feeling well these days and his two sisters visit with him and Louise two days each week and the girls do crafts. They have made beautiful red jackets for Christmas denim jackets and jumpers and many other things too numerous to mention.

Those having August birthdays are Dorothy Dixon, Laura Ward, Mona Dixon and Timmy Potts. Happy birthday to these dear people.

Don't forget Rosston revival next Sunday through Friday night. Bro. Sam Husser of Louisiana will be the evangelist with services beginning at 7:30 p.m. Homecoming will be on Sunday. Come worship with us.

Our neighbors, Joey and Ellen Wallace, are sporting a beautiful new red Dodge Durango.

Joey will be going to Warren one day this week on business pertaining to his job at Potlatch.

It is God to whom and with whom we travel, and while He is the end of our journey, He is also at every stopping place.
